These terms govern your use of buysmart (the app and website). By using buysmart, you agree to them.
buysmart compares prices for groceries and other products across several Austrian retailers, and shows current fuel prices near you, filterable by fuel type. The app also offers an AI chat assistant and a photo-scan feature for product recognition.
Price, availability, and product data come from third-party sources (retail chains, E-Control) and may differ from actual in-store prices or be outdated. We give no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data, and recommend confirming the price in-store before purchasing.
Responses from the chat assistant and results from the photo scan are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate or wrong. Don't base a purchase decision solely on this output.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential, and you agree not to use buysmart abusively or for unlawful purposes.
Paid Premium features are sold as a subscription through the relevant app store. Term, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's or Google's terms; cancel through your app store account settings.
To the extent permitted by law, we are only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded; mandatory statutory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.
We may update these terms as the app or the legal framework changes. We'll notify you in the app of any material change.
These terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your place of habitual residence remain unaffected.
